The adjective, great, is too often misapplied so I won’t use it to describe the work of Dennis Hopper who died at age 74. But I’ll call him wonderful. From Easy Rider  to Blue Velvet  to Apocalypse Now  to Hoosiers  to Speed , Hopper was terrific as an actor and director. Here are a few photos:
