Dear Fans of South Puget Sound Libertarian,
Mark lost his long struggle with cancer this month. He is survived by Nancy, his beautiful Cajun Princess, and his and her children.
Mark’s greatest hope for this blog was that he would make his readers think about the proper role of government and the enduring values of liberty, freedom and true democracy. He was tickled that the blog gained a loyal following.
Henry Thoreau wrote, “Any man more right than his neighbors constitutes a majority of one.” We’ve found his blog to be thought-provoking, insightful and, occasionally, infuriatingly wrong. But that was the point. The discussions that ensued as we worked through the merits of his argument were always lively and gave to those of us privileged to know him, a chance to learn.
As a final tribute to Mark’s efforts over the last several years, we welcome your comments on how this blog has shaped your thinking.
On Mark’s behalf, thank you for reading.
Sincerely,
The Nameroff Family
